1. Product Overview
IS215UCVEH2AF (UCVE) is the core real-time CPU board for GE Mark VI gas/steam turbine & EX2100 excitation control systems. It runs QNX Neutrino hard real-time OS to execute all critical turbine control algorithms, sequence logic and safety interlocks.
All field analog/discrete signals collected by IS200 series I/O termination boards are transmitted to UCVE via proprietary ISBus VME backplane for unified calculation, then output control commands back to field actuators. Dual redundant Ethernet and dual serial ports provide multi-protocol communication with HMI, plant SCADA and auxiliary equipment.
Conformal coated PCB and wide-temperature design adapt to harsh power plant cabinet environments; hot-swap enables maintenance without unit shutdown. GE stopped original new production, only refurbished and surplus spare parts available aftermarket.
